I met Eric years ago at KUNM. Since then he has evolved himself into an award-winning animator, working in film and digital media. HIs work spans avant-garde 16mm film projects up through "Blues Clues" for Nickelodeon.

Stark Film was composed by Eric doing collages of found objects and art materials, sandwiched between clear acetate. After essentially building one collage for each frame, he then rephotographed the "frames" to film.

Although small, the Quicktime excerpt shows some of the gorgeous detail in Eric's work; the Real video is somewhat lossy, but I wanted to present the full work online. I have the full film in Quicktime, but it's a honker of a file, and I have not yet had time to upload it.
