| David Stein is the older brother I never had. Or dirty uncle. Or something. Without exaggeration nor hyberpole, I consider him to be one of the best and brightest people I have ever known. He is a Renaissance Man for the New Age, without a Renaissance to help build. He is a master, a lover and a gallant. Photographer, graphic artist, multimedia author, builder, educator, mentor. And the most arid sense of humor. Sucks the water right out of you. So to speak. Sharkhouse is a bit of nutty that D.S. sent me from Oxford, where is taking a breather from America for a bit this Summer. Mr. Stein took the photograph of Bo Diddley in Bo's yard in Albuquerque's South Valley. The photo was taken for the ill-fated Albuquerque Voice. His website, by the way, has a very, very obscure photo of 1boy. Find it and I'll send you a dollar. location: Albuquerque, New Mexico contact: www.seriouslight.com david@seriouslight.com |
