It's one thing to be able to produce graphics in various media, but it's all a waste without an identity to hang it on.

Of course, the best logos and identities I've come up with started with people -- running businesses of all makes and models -- who were passionate about what they do.

And then to be able to take the identity and tell a story (through, say, video) just makes it even more fun.

I mean, it sounds corny, but it's just so COOL. I have helped entrepreneurial businesses get going, and there's a certain look and feel about the proprietor when they see their fresh, new logo for the first time (and like it!). And then to see it move and make noise....

It makes it more real, more serious, more vivid somehow. The first time I printed out my own logo, and then made up a business card it brought everything into focus. Like I was on my way...
